I am Co-Founder and Managing Partner of American Classic Thoroughbreds . I was born and raised in Scranton, Pennsylvania and have been a longtime resident . I have been in the Automotive bussiness over the last 12 years and over the last 2 years have also been involved in the Real Estate bussiness . My interest in horse racing started when I went to the racetrack at age 15 with my uncle and won on the very first horse I bet on . That was it I was hooked . Since then over the years I've been to many great Triple Crown and Breeders Cup races . My interest grew so much that it led me to join several racing partnerships that I gained much experiance and knowledge from . This has helped me shape and build American Classic Thoroughbreds into what will be a first class outfit that will offer everyone involved a chance at and experiance of a lifetime .
Joe Dougher : Head of Finances
I am a native of Scranton, Pennsylvania and also Co-Founder and Financial Manager of American Classic Thoroughbreds . I became involved in horse racing at the age of sixteen . I worked as a groom for a family friend that owed several standardbreds. The excitement of thoroughbred horse racing has made my desire to allow more individuals the opportunity to become involved in horse ownership . It has led me to Co found American Classic Thoroughbreds . I have a bachelors degree in accounting and a masters degree in bussiness administration from Penn State University. Currently I am the Chief Executive Officer for Multi-Million Dollar Healthcare Mangement Company . I currently reside in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania with my wife and two sons .
Micheal Aro : Trainer at Philadelphia Park
Mike is based at Philadelphia Park and originally was based out of Suffolk Downs up in Boston , Mass. He is a very good Trainer and is having a very good year .
Christy Clagett : Owner of Larkin Hill Training Center
Christy is a great educator of young horses and also a great problem solver of problem horses . Larkin Hill Training Center is located in Harwood , Maryland .
